M I N D Y OUR B O D Y for Peace of Mind "If you let go a little, you will have a little peace. If you let go alot, you will have alot of peace. If you let go completely, you will have complete peace" Buddha
Healing is Medicine Healing is Peace
"The medicine way is a long and narrow trail of discovery with constant rebirth. In the modern world, we often look at peace as the absence of war, but peace represents more in the native way of thinking. Peace is a way of acting, knowing, creating, listening, speaking, and/or living. In all instances, peace comes from within our own beingness. This peace is the balance of recognizing and honoring male/female, teaching/learning, humility/pride and every other aspect of living in harmony.
It is not something that can be weighed except by the self. If there were to be a measure, it would be measured by the capacity of the heart to remain open, serene, and unafraid. We cannot create world peace if we are riddled with inner conflict. We radiate the feelings and thoughts that we hold inside, whether we speak them or not. World peace begins in the heart of each individual. " excerpt from "Sacred Path" byJamie Sams
What is Shamanic Healing?
Shamanism is a force of Nature based whole-istic /holistic approach to health, well-th and your body, your being…who and what you are. We are multi dimensional beings and cannot separate the physical body from all the dimensions of you, the totality.
I perceive and provide my massage therapy work from this perspective inclusive of the ethereal-ness, energy of you as well as the emotional body, the mental body and the physical. It’s all one thing and cannot be separated. This is what you will experience in a session (if you are open to this holistic view!)
combining massage therapy with Shamanic healing creates such a rich, wholesome, holistic and transformative experience of wellbeing.
May we all thrive in harmony as our whole self.
Please note!……
My healing work is oftentimes described as intense. So I decided to look up the word and share the definition as well as why this may be so!
Transformation and healing and letting go of things you haven’t yet and facing things you haven’t yet, and integrating things you haven’t yet and seeing things you haven’t yet seen or experienced is….intense.
The experience of expansion where there was contraction, even though it’s what we desire and intend for is an intense experience. When you arrive at this edge, all you have to do is give way to the resistance to release the contraction and…magic happens!
Facing pains is intense. Our pains are physical (dense energy), emotional (of a feeling nature), mental (of thinking and thoughts), and ethereal/invisible (of light energy) all woven together. Opening doors and windows and walls of the mind/body/spirit/soul being that you Are and letting some of the various held back and held in contractions to be integrated out into wholeness is…intense. I fully agree!
definition of intense: Very strong. Deeply empathic, sensitive, perceptive. Having or giving out strong energy. Done with great effort, a lot of action in a short period of time, extreme in degree or effect. Keen. Having or expressing great depth of feeling. Increased, concentrated. Power-full.
Energies are held within our “tensions”… In-tense. Your tensions will be felt and seen, and if you allow, the in-tense will transform and integrate… un-veiled, relieved, revealed, healed.
The degree to which you un-contract will increase the feeling of peace, relaxation, openness, spaciousness, etc. Sessions are a co-creation, the degree to which you allow yourself to feel and experience matters!
Also remember that our beliefs and expectations about the way things should be and the way things are can either limit or expand experience. Beliefs behave as a structure that hold things together in a certain way. If beliefs are held tightly, movement becomes difficult. If beliefs are loosened, even if just temporarily, flow of energy happens, expanding, opening, carrying you ….to the Sea……
~ Sessions are either in-person (in Weed, Ca) with therapeutic massage or as a phone session. (More information on phone sessions under the ‘more’ tab at the top of the page.)
